In fact, knowing you are making steady progress gives you the energy and resolve to keep going. It’s exciting! You can start from wherever you are and create your own parameters for what success looks like. Energy and inspiration comes from surprising yourself and always learning and taking new risks.
Confidence comes from finding the right path where YOU feel comfortable with your own process. From there it becomes easy to share and find an audience.
There are three key pillars to growing your business as an artist.
1. STUDIO: making the work itself - because everything is about the art!
2. SUPPORT: the structure you need to make sales - the scaffolding which needs to be in place. Everything from websites to cataloguing your work
3. SELF: Knowing yourself is essential, because you are at the core of this more than in any other business. Art is the greatest guide to your own development. For this reason alone this is worthy of your time.
These key areas are all connected - sometimes you may be in a position to work on one area more than the other… but keeping them in balance is a key principle. How we cover this will change in reflection of our community but the outline includes:

My name is Alice Sheridan and I hope you know me a bit already. In which case you already know my style; informal and pretty straightforward. I've been showing and selling my art for almost a decade. And it's changed in that time. A lot!
But it was only when I really decided to commit to my art practice that things really changed. I didn't want to wake up in 20 years time and wonder "what if?"
Setting up this club (in my mind it's the artist Power Party, because I do like a good party!) seemed the next logical step. Logic and fun combined.... come in and join us. You can do this!

You can leave any time you choose. Building a creative business is not an overnight thing. Learning to develop your work as an artist takes time. Stay for as long as you enjoy the support and training.
How committed are you? This group is for you if you are ready to expand your art practice, and the business of bring it to an audience. You should be excited about that prospect. If you wish to enjoy your art purely for personal fun, then you may not benefit from all the content.
Anyone is welcome. Some of what we discuss may have more resonance in the UK market, but overall the direction will be the same for everyone. At current rates £22 is around $29
No, but the doors will close for this intake so that I can welcome new members together. I’m not sure when I will re-open. I understand we are all busy with extra things going on in our lives, which is why this will lead you in doing what is most relevant. Time keeps ticking, it’s making a start which makes the difference.
